and corporate teambuilding workshops,
private instruction and studio

gallery space to showcase the work
of emerging regional glass artists. The public is welcome to
visit our gallery and observe
the action in the studio on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

Taught by HOT SHOP GLASS staff, these skill
building workshops teach the fundamentals of glass blowing and
a teamwork approach to working with hot glass. Two
instructors teach a maximum of 6 students per session.

Learn the fundamentals of blowing
glass through great demonstrations, exercises and time
to practice through the creation of several solid and blown
glass forms. Six students / Two instructors, Twelve class hours,

Summer Sessions Weekend Intensives . . . we take our 12 hour curriculum and complete it in one weekend! This is a must for students with busy schedules!

GLASSBLOWING 2 |
 Building
on the fundamentals learned in Glass 1, expand knowledge
of
form, color and decorative
techniques using optic molds, wraps, handles and feet
to enhance blown forms. Twelve class hours, $325 per student.

Private Classes:
Private classes can be scheduled days, evenings or weekends for
those wishing to work individually or with their own partner
and individual instructor. All skill levels. Cost is
$65 per hour for an instructor and use of one bench & glory
hole.
Studio Rental:
Skilled glass blowers may rent the studio and work independently
with studio staff approval. Cost is $40 per hour for
use of tools, clear glass, annealing space, one bench & one
glory hole.

Registration
Information:
All fees for classes and rentals must be paid in advance! Fees
are refundable only if we fill your space with a student on the
waiting list. All students must sign a waiver of liability, comply
with all studio policy and procedures and be over age 14 unless
with the approval of their parent/guardian and Hot Shop Glass staff.
Parent or guardian must sign a release for those 14-17 years old. Please click here to download our safety and release form.
